OUR MINISTRIES

Picton Baptist has regular, ongoing ministries to children, youth, and adults. Please take a look at the descriptions below and let us know how we can be of help to you and your family.

PRAYER MEETING

Sundays, 9:30am in the Children's Ministry room

"Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference" (Max Lucado). We have this prayer meeting to intercede for the worship service and the children's ministry on a given Sunday. We pray for the preacher and the preaching of God's Word, for the worship team, for all the other participants of the worship, and for the whole congregation. We also pray for God's blessing upon the teachers and children in the children's ministry.

WORSHIP SERVICE

Sundays at 10am

Join us for Christ-centred, Bible-based, and Spirit-filled worship on Sundays at 10am on 293 Waikawa Road.

SUNDAY FRIENDS

(A CHILDREN'S MINISTRY)

Sundays at 10:30am in the children's ministry room

Sunday Friends is a fun and interactive fellowship group catering to little children up to 5 years old. We do stories, singing, dancing, games and craft to boost children's learning and knowledge about themselves, this world and our Creator. Free morning tea is provided. Come and have a blessed time with us!
